Sobremesa

Sobremesa is a collaborative photobook between artists Giulia Paradell of Urbild Ediciones and Rada Nastai of bruise studio. The two wanted to celebrate the concept of Sobremesa, - a moment of re-pause after a meal where food and ideas are shared and digested, as much as company enjoyed.

Printed in risography with blue, red, yellow and black in a first edition of 100 copies, Sobremesa showcases photos the two artists took of tables full of books, empty glasses and plates - symbols of a moment of nutritive togetherness where not only food is shared but also friendships and relationships are cultivated, stories shared, and the calorical, energetical values of our community are assimilated.

The book comes accompanied by a custom designed bar napkin, in the style of spanish bar servilletas.
